If you’ve ever won a Simming Prize, placed in the Tournament of Simulations, earned a Distinguished Service Medal, or been recognized by the Squiddies or Ongoing Worlds Community Honors, you now have a way to prove it, and show it off.
Today we’re launching SimCert, a digital credentialing system for the simming community. Think of it like verified badges for your simming accomplishments. You can look yourself up, see your awards, and grab an embeddable badge to display on your sim’s website, your crew manifest, or your forum signature.
How It Works
Head to certify.simmingprize.com and search for your name or your organization’s name. If you’ve received any awards managed through the system, you’ll see them listed on your profile page along with embeddable badges you can copy and paste into your own site.
Each badge links back to your verified profile, so anyone who sees it can confirm your credentials are legitimate. No more “trust me, we won Gold in 2024”. Now there’s a receipt.
What’s In the System
Certify currently tracks winners and honorees from five award programs:
- The Simming Prize — the premier award for excellence in simming, awarded by the Simming League in memory of Seth Cotis
- Tournament of Simulations — the annual competitive showcase, with tiered placements
- Simming League Distinguished Service Medal — recognizing service to the League and the broader community
- Squiddies — community-voted awards celebrating the best in simming, awarded by Ongoing Worlds
- Ongoing Worlds Community Honors — recognizing contributions across the Ongoing Worlds platform
If you’ve been recognized by any of these programs, your awards should already be in the system and waiting for you.

SimCert isn’t just for Simming League awards. We’ve built the system so that award managers from other programs can log in and manage their own awards independently.
